eHR Office

To take forward the complex and multi-faceted development programme of electronic health record (eHR) sharing as an essential infrastructure for implementing the healthcare reform, the Health Bureau set up the eHR Office. The eHR Office plans, develops, implements and manages the territory-wide population-wide eHR Sharing System, handles the various policy and legal issues including data privacy and security arising from the System, and engages the various stakeholders in the private sector as well as the general public in its development.
