eHRSS: from Planning to Commencement of Operation
The development of the Electronic Health Record Sharing System (eHRSS) is a two-decade journey,
bringing us into an unprecedented realm of healthcare informatics. Mr Sidney Chan, Commissioner for
the Electronic Health Record, shared his reflections of the Government-led, territory-wide eHRSS project
as it progressed from planning to implementation, and his vision for the further development of electronic
health record (eHR) in Hong Kong.
